The real estate market is starting to pick up. The next three months are historically the most robust in real estate. We are coming off a pretty slow January but seem to have turned a corner in February. We are seeing a more level playing field between buyers and sellers – it’s no longer a solid seller’s market as before. Some areas are even anticipating a true buyer’s market due to the excess in inventory. With interest rates staying low and the local economy going strong, it’s still a great time to buy or sell a home.
Interest rates remain around 6.25% for a 30-year fixed with no points.
