As you can see by the numbers the real estate market is gaining momentum for spring. Look for this to continue! This month, let’s take a closer look at home sales compared to previous years.
- March 2007: 838 closed sales with 65% selling within 60 days
- March 2006: 1288 closed sales with 71% selling within 60 days
- March 2005: 1290 closed sales with 72% selling with in 60 days
- March 2004: 1128 closed sales with 62% closing with in 60 days
- March 2003: 949 closed sales with 65% closing with in 60 days.
It’s interesting to note that today’s market is very similar to the 2003 market, which was a record setting year until 2004 came around…
Interest rates remain around 6.25% for a 30-year fixed with no points.
