The real estate market proved slower than usual this August, with more homes listed and fewer qualified buyers playing a significant role in the slow down. Due to the sifting in the mortgage industry, the real estate market has simply lost its first home buyers, creating a trickle-down affect on “move-up” buyers and sellers. Once the mortgage industry stabilizes, I expect to see a stronger, healthier real estate market once again.
